Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how Rob Levin (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Fluency Lock mobile application (the “App”).
Children’s Privacy
Fluency Lock is not intended for use by children under the age of thirteen (13). No individual under this age may use the Services, provide any Personal Data (e.g., a name, address, telephone number, or email address). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the specified age without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under this age, please contact us.
Location Data
We use your device’s location (GPS) to personalize your app experience. Location data is not shared with third parties except as required for app functionality. CDPA Compliance: We process location data to improve the app experience. Categories of data processed: GPS coordinates. Data is not sold to third parties. You have the right to opt-out of the processing of personal data.
Speech Recognition
The App uses speech recognition to enable voice features. Speech input is processed on your device and/or by platform providers (Apple/Google). No audio is stored by us.
Audio Playback
The App plays spoken word audio files for learning purposes and that audio may be stored on your device. No audio is recorded or stored from your device.
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to improve the App. Data collected includes device type, usage patterns, and crash reports. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
Cloud Storage
User-generated data may be stored securely in Firebase Storage to support personalized features such as saved progress, favorites, and feedback. Data is not shared with third parties.
Personal Data
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You.
Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to: Email address, Password, and Usage Data which may include information such as your: IP address, which screens on the app and how much time spent on those screens and other diagnostic data designed to help us improve the app.
While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA) Compliance
As required by the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA), we provide the following information:
Purpose of Processing Personal Information: We process personal information, such as location data and usage data, to provide and improve the App’s functionality and personalize your experience.
Categories of Data Processed: We process the following categories of personal data: location data (GPS coordinates), device type, usage patterns, and crash reports.
Types of Data Shared with Third Parties: We share data with third-party service providers, such as Firebase Analytics, to assist us in providing and improving the App.
Categories of Data Sold to Third Parties: We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Location Data Disclosure (Google Play Requirement)
In compliance with Google’s Prominent Disclosure Requirement, we disclose that the App may collect and transmit location data, with your permission, to enable personalized features and improve your experience. Location data is accessed only while the App is actively in use and is neither stored nor shared with third parties.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:
